Kimberley N. Travers is a recent graduate at the University of Memphis (May 2018) receiving an M.A. in history. She was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society. She received her M.A. in Religion, with a concentration in African American Religious Studies, from Memphis Theological Seminary. She also served as an assistant with the Rhetoric Race and Religion book series at Lexington Books. After finishing her M.A., Kimberley plans to pursue a Ph.D. in history focusing on African American Religious history, women’s history, feminist theory, gender studies, and Theology and Pop Culture. She currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee.
